St Paul's Bay
An almost-closed bay of still, clear water, right below the acropolis.

Just south of Lindos, the rocks close around a small bay so tightly it looks like a lake. The water inside is still, clear and warm, with the acropolis on the cliff above.
The story
Tradition says the Apostle Paul came ashore here during a storm on his travels. The small white chapel of St Paul on the shore is a favourite for weddings.
Good to know
- Sand and pebbles, with sunbeds on both sides
- Calmer than the main Lindos beach on windy days
- About 15 minutes' walk down from the village
